Dr Sher studied at Glasgow University where he graduated with both Honours, and the prestigious University of Glasgow Quaich for ‘Outstanding Achievement’. After a period working across Scotland, he joined the Glasgow Smile Clinic as partner.

Dr Sher has devoted a significant portion of his time to develop and hone his skills in the latest techniques of modern cosmetic dentistry. His primary interest lies in dental implants, and he has undergone extensive training in this field. His experience allows him to carry out the full range of different implant treatments, from simple single-tooth replacement, to more complex full mouth Teeth-in-a-Day procedures. This enthusiasm for dental implants has led Dr Sher to the Royal College of Surgeons where he is currently studying for the Diploma in Implant Dentistry, having passed his membership exams in 2013.

Dr Sher underwent training in Aesthetic dentistry at the world renowned Eastman Dental Institute in London, before beginning a period of study in Orthodontics. He is a certified provider in a number of different fixed and removable orthodontic systems, and has lectured on this subject at conferences.

Dr Sher is a firm believer in sharing and passing on knowledge, so he is closely involved in the supervision and further training of young dentists, and is a member of a number of dental associations including: the Association of Dental Implantology, The Royal College of Surgeons of England, The British Orthodontic Society and The Digital Smile Design Team.

This broad spectrum of training allows Dr Sher to ensure that he is able to offer the full range of treatments available to achieve the stunning long lasting smiles his patients’ desire.
